We beat the “MTV Promosexuals” 16-15. The Promosexuals played a good game but we are the better team.

A few highlights for you. Brett was the game MVP. He hit 2 homeruns (go boss!!) and 6 RBI’s. Also Keith, Nate and Tom hit homeruns. Keith and Mike played the outfield exceptionally well stopping the Promosexuals from scoring even more runs. George went 4 for 4, a triple due to the excellent slide into 3rd. George found out the hard way they you don’t slide when you’re wearing shorts….ouch!! Another boss that made me proud. Then again how could you not be proud with this team.

Angela now kneels down to catch but found out that knee pads might be a good idea!!! She did a great job protecting our umpire, who by the way mentioned it to her over and over. (he was a fun umpire)

The girls, Debra, Doreen, Angela and myself, we held our own. We don’t pull the team down. They know now that with a co-ed team, we’re great assets!!

We had 11 players show up, all of them got on base at least once.

Nate once again did an excellent job pitching! And an even better job entertaining when he pitched to the girl that was 4 feet tall, she hit the ball to Nate and ran, I believe that her and Nate both fell to the ground at the same time. But hey, we still got the out.

Bryan played first base the majority of the game, what a great first baseman you are Bryan, way to go.

I’m happy to say, no injuries for me this game. I went into this thinking it’s all in fun but……….I want to win now!!! Go Mustangs!!!!

We are 2-0 and tied for first place. Our next game is Thursday, Oct. 6th at 6 PM., we play “Lava Trading”. I encourage you to join us for a game, it’s a guaranteed fun night. And I believe we’re losing our cheering section. That’s right, there’s a good chance Brandon will be playing next week.
