Hello Mustang Fans

I'm very proud to say that the Mustangs beat Loccitane Exfoliators 11-8. We fell behind 4-0 but rallied to win 11-8. We will now head to the playoffs!!

Let's start with the Game MVP. Nate Klebacha, way to go Nate!!!! Nate went 2 for 3 with a very big Grand Slam in the 6th inning putting us ahead of the Exfoliators. And his pitching, well again an excellent job. One of the things I personally like about Nate, he doesn't care when I keep saying "come on Nate" while he's pitching.

Angela started the 6th inning off with a big walk that started the Mustangs rallying to an 8 run inning. Angela good job getting the inning going!!

Coach Tom went 3 for 3 and did a great job as usual playing shortstop, no somersaults for Tom this game. Bryan Hanlon had a nice play when he got the ball in centerfield, threw to the cut off guy who proceeded to throw to home and get the out. Looking good Bryan!!

Doreen played first, as usual she played exceptionally well. Without her on first the team is at a loss. It's an important position and our girl knows her stuff!!!

Jason made his first appearance and I have to say I was really impressed with his playing. You'd never know he hasn't played in 6 years. Jason went 2 for 2 and had 2 great fielding plays at 2nd. Jason we need to get you back for the playoffs.

Everyone did well at bat. Brandon, Brett, Brian L, Bryan H., Mike S., George, Carly and myself rotated the outfield positions.

Keith had 2 homeruns, you keep amazing me Keith!! But the best part is Keith brought his family for our cheering section. It was nice having Jen there to root the team on and see her husband get 2 homeruns. But I have to say that Keith (and the Mustangs) biggest fan was Keith's son Colin. Who by the way was also the bat boy. Colin good job!!! And his cheering, well there wasn't any shyness there, especially when dad was at bat.

The Mustangs will now start the playoffs. Hopefully we can get a cheering section going. The time and date will be announce as soon as we know when it is.
